These are the rules and guidelines for adding content to the wiki. Please be sure to read them before contributing.

Content Policy

When adding new content to the wiki, please abide by the following rules:

  1. No copyright violation – Do not post any copyrighted game code, assets, or content from other websites without the proper license/attribution.
  2. Keep it relevant – Please only add content that is relevant to modding and reverse-engineering the Sly Cooper games.
  3. Be respectful – Please be respectful of other editors and their contributions. Edit warring, personal attacks, and other destructive behaviors are not acceptable.
  4. When in doubt, ask for help - If you aren't sure how to do something, or whether something is allowed, you can always ask for help on Discord or ask an administrator on their talk page.

Do's and Don'ts

Do create articles for topics including (but not limited to): game mechanics, reverse-engineered data structures, game engine subsystems, and game builds.

Don't create articles for enum data types; Document them on the page for the struct that they are mainly used for (e.g. document the Sly 1 ZAPK enum in a subsection of the the Sly 1:ZAP article).

Do create informational articles for game mods and modding utilities, but don't upload them to the wiki. Host them somewhere else and link to them using either {{Infobox mod}} or {{Infobox tool}}.

If you want to add something but it is not covered by these rules, be bold and do what you think is best, whether that means creating a new article or including it as a section on an already-existing article.
