Run away from the Scary Rat in this (cursed) custom game mode for the Sly 2 NTSC Retail build.

Spoiler: You can't run away. He will haunt you forever!
To begin, load Ep1 hub and exit the safehouse as Sly. Scary Rat will start to haunt you after 4 seconds. Then, for every 15-18 seconds, he will try to teleport to the player. This event will be indicated when Sly's gadget meter is decreasing rapidly and the screen is about to fade to black.
Background story[edit | edit source]
The main goal was to re-create SCP-173 and SCP-106 in the game. SCP-173 should have been a T-Pose boar guard, that would only move when the camera would not face him (by playing with the guard's AI, you can stop them on demand). I had an epic idea for the blinker mechanic for 173, but it was too much for the limited time I had. I guess that's the fun of mod jams! SCP-106 should have been a completely dark, slow-walking rat, that could pass through walls and would always follow you no matter what. Remains of an early version of the blinker mechanic from 173 is still present: I ended up using it for the indication of when the Rat is about to teleport.

Known bugs[edit | edit source]
- Sometimes the game likes to spawn the other guards too (Sly 2 moment).
- Sometimes the game fails to teleport Scary Rat to the player.
