Beta Pickpocket is a mod for Sly 2 and 3 that enables an old version of the stealing animation. The treasure falls on the ground from the guard's pocket, and Sly has to physically touch it or swing the cane to pick it up. Picking up the treasure does not play the treasure showcase GUI, but instead plays the default ding sound effect.

- When Bentley pickpockets the handkerchief in Sly 3, it flies away and despawns.
